Howdy, It's your farmer David. Our regenerative pasture based family farm is located in the heart of central Missouri. On it we rotationally graze 100% grass fed cattle and sheep and pasture raised chickens. Our mission is to restore the health and vitality of the land while nourishing the families who eat of its bounty.
Providing good food for your family can be stressful! It was for us! Labels crafted to deceive, corporate brands just out to rip you off, basic definitions like "grass fed" or "free range" that don't mean what they should. It can be overwhelming and super disheartening. We want to take that worry and stress out of feeding your family!
We remember being so discouraged after purchasing some of our first "good pasture raised food" only to realize it wasn't what it had appeared to be. Instead we had just been ripped off.
But we knew we needed real nutrient-rich, pasture raised food. So, we started with regenerative agriculture to heal the soil. Healthy soil leads to healthy plants, healthy plants lead to healthy animals, and healthy animals lead to healthy families. Because we were producing food for our family, we wanted all of the good stuff and none of the nasties!
Everything is truly pasture raised! The cows and sheep are grass fed and grass finished, no gimmicks. All of our chickens and hogs are raised on pasture and supplemented with a GMO free grain containing corn and soy from a local mill.
None of the nasties. No chemicals, insecticides, pesticides, antibiotics, growth hormones, nitrites, nitrates, ............. or anything else nasty you can think of.
Everything that we raise and sell adheres to these principles. No exceptions! When you make a purchase from our farm you are providing the best nutrient rich food for your family, enjoying peace of mind for the first time in a long time, and restoring the health and vitality of the land your children's children will inherit.
