One of the truly neat things about our regenerative grazing systems on the farm is that they promote natural wildlife habitat. Many people think that all of our animals would mean there wasn't room for wildlife but the opposite is actually true.

Our planned grazing system creates a patchwork of freshly grazed areas, mostly recovered areas and lush ungrazed areas. The wildlife freely move in between these areas allowing them to have ample cover, food, and places to raise their young.

In Missouri, wild quail are almost unheard of and the state spends millions trying to reestablish populations of them with little success. However on our farm the quail population is soaring -without any help from the state.

In this photo you can see one perched on our fence post just surveying the field. Its just another blessing of regenerative agriculture.
