Our lambs are born and raised on our farm and spend their lives foraging on our lush pastures eating legumes, forbs (also known as weeds - their personal favorite), saplings, thorn trees (also one of their specialties) and grasses.
Just like our other livestock we rotate our sheep across our fields in a synergistic rotational grazing system designed to restore the health and vitality of the land while providing the best nutrient rich diet that the sheep were designed to eat (that means no grain ever!)
Their diverse diet yields an exceptional end product that is more flavorful and mild than conventional lamb and is packed full of nutrients. In fact lamb is the most nutrient rich meat we offer because of their preference for deep rooted forbs in their diet!
The Lamb Loin Chop is a delicious, incredibly flavor filled cut of lamb. It is well marbled and extremely tender (it contains part of both the loin and the tenderloin) and will have your family asking for seconds!
