Ingredients
- (9 eggs) One Delightful Dozen Eggs
- (approx 1/2 cup) Real Milk
- (1/2 lb) Breakfast Sausage - Medium
- (1 cup, shredded) Sharp Cheddar Cheese (Raw)
- (1-2 cups) Broccoli florets
- (To taste) Salt and Pepper
- (2 teaspoons) Garlic Powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 450* and butter pie pan (8x8 dish works too, you'll just have thicker pieces)
Cook sausage thoroughly and set aside.
Whisk together eggs, milk, and spices
Pour into prepared dish and add sausage, broccoli*, and cheese
Bake for 20 minutes or until edges start to turn brown
*We love to bake the broccoli before adding it into the quiche- it gives it more of a yummy texture and a little more flavor with the added spices!
Place florets on a baking sheet (line with parchment paper first for an easy clean up!)
Melt 3 tablespoons butter and brush over broccoli
Sprinkle with season salt, garlic powder, and a little cayenne pepper
Bake at 450* until florets start to look crispy (approx 20 minutes)
Add on top of quiche!
