My Favorite Sound On The Farm

This morning I wanted to share my favorite sound on the farm with you! It is the sound of cattle grazing a fresh sward of grass and gently breaking off the ends of the grass plant.

Greetings from the farm, Kelli and I have missed seeing you all these past several weeks. Believe me when I say that getting to see all of you is definitely a highlight of the month for us.We wouldn't be absent for so long if we didn't have a good reason.That's why we am pleased... no, we're ecstatic... to officially annouce the birth of our daughter Tesni (Tess-nee) Sojourner Williams (Its our first :)She was born July 18 at 10:42pm and weighed 7lbs, 7oz. She was, and is, perfect.If you were wondering, "Tesni" is a Welsh name that means "warmth from the sun". It was 91° the day she was born, and we thought the name would be appropriate for a July birth.Her middle name is "Sojourner", which means "stranger in a strange land". As Christians, we believe we are just strangers passing through this world.Thank you for your prayers. Although Kelli won't be joining me for deliveries for a long while to come, I can pass any well-wishes along to her when I get home.I'm so thankful to be alongside my wife for the adventure of parenthood. And now, by Kelli's passion and the grace of God, we have a healthy girl. We love her more every day, and know we'll do anything to protect her. We are beginning to understand just how much God loves us. I don't think He loves us for WHO we are, but for WHOSE we are. Namely, His.Spilling His Love,Austin, Kelli, and Tesni.
